Trauma, ADHD, OCD & Nervous System Regulation in Kelowna, BC

Helping adults understand the patterns beneath anxiety, trauma, grief, emotional overwhelm, and neurodivergence—so healing can begin to make sense.

How Wendi Works

Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding you.

Many people come to therapy already knowing a great deal about themselves. They may understand what happened in their lives, recognize their patterns, and still feel unable to change how they react, relate, or cope.

That is because understanding your story and understanding your nervous system are not always the same thing.

Wendi works collaboratively with you to explore how your experiences, emotions, body, relationships, and protective patterns connect. Together, you begin making sense of what is happening beneath the surface while developing practical tools that support greater regulation, self-understanding, and lasting change.

What It’s Like to Work With Wendi

Wendi brings curiosity, compassion, and clear direction to the therapy process.

She works collaboratively, helping you understand how your experiences, emotions, nervous system, relationships, and protective patterns fit together. Rather than viewing you as “broken,” she helps you recognize how many of your current struggles may have developed as ways of adapting to difficult experiences.

As those patterns begin to make sense, there is often more room for self-compassion, choice, and meaningful change.

Wendi’s approach is thoughtful and practical. Sessions may include both deeper exploration and concrete tools you can use in everyday life, so therapy feels connected to what you are actually navigating outside the therapy room.

Let's Connect

You don’t need to know exactly what’s going on—or what kind of therapy you need—to take the first step.

A free 15-minute consultation is an opportunity to tell Wendi a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. If Wendi feels that another therapist or service at Kelowna Trauma & Life Therapy may better support what you’re looking for, she’ll be happy to help point you in the right direction.
