Lea Thomson, BSW, MSW, RSW
Lea is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including first responders coping with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, family systems, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. As well, she has over 20 years of experience supporting individuals in various roles through direct support, advocacy, and case management. Lea’s empathy and passion for her work stem from her own lived experiences and the support she has received within therapeutic relationships. Recognizing that trauma impacts each person differently, she strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore barriers, leverage strengths, and advance healing.
