Candid portrait of Jenny Fremlin, representing a relaxed and authentic therapeutic space where clients can connect, feel supported, and show up as themselves.

A different kind of therapy space.

You don’t have to perform healing here.

You don’t need to have the right words, a perfect story, or a clear understanding of what’s wrong.

You can just be yourself.

A Somatic, Whole-Self Approach

Healing doesn't only happen through insight.

Sometimes we understand our patterns intellectually while still feeling caught in cycles of stress, overwhelm, tension, or disconnection.

Somatic Experiencing® works with the nervous system directly — helping clients gently notice and shift survival responses that may still be held in the body long after difficult experiences have passed.

Jenny's approach combines nervous system awareness with collaboration, curiosity, humour, and practical support for everyday life.

HOW JENNY WORKS

Figure skates resting on a wooden bench beside a frozen pond in a forest, reflecting reconnection, joy, and returning to meaningful parts of ourselves.

Sessions may include:

  • nervous system tracking and regulation

  • noticing and tracking patterns in sensation, emotion, and impulse

  • grounding and orienting practices

  • collaborative reflection and meaning-making

  • support around stress, trauma, overwhelm, or life transitions

  • gentle awareness of how experiences may live in the body

  • building capacity for connection, resilience, and self-trust

Meet Jenny

Jenny's path into counselling has been shaped by a wide range of deeply human experiences.

Before becoming a therapist, she worked in crisis communications and wildfire response with the BC Wildfire Service, later supporting survivors of abuse through transition house work in Salmon Arm.

Alongside this work, Jenny is a proud parent, a strong advocate for social justice, and has built a life rooted in simplicity, connection, and everyday resilience.

These experiences continue to inform the grounded, compassionate, and deeply human way she approaches therapy today.

Jenny is currently completing the Somatic Experiencing® professional training program and has been immersed in Somatic Experiencing® work both personally and professionally for over a decade.

She believes people hold an innate capacity for healing when offered collaboration, curiosity, authenticity, and the space to reconnect with themselves gently and safely.
